The Charity the Reunion is Supporting in 2017

As a few people have asked me, probably because its buried down this very big group chat, we are raising the money for Nene Valley Christian Family Refuge. They are a registered charity and have been supporting survivors of domestic violence and abuse since 1984 (appropriate given our 80s connection). Whilst they are local, indeed they are based in Northampton, they take referrals for Refuge accommodation from all over the Country. If anyone needs more info on the work then do please either see their website: http://www.nvcfr.org.uk or contact Kelly Gavaghan as she is one of you, on the organising committee for our event and an ambassador for raising awareness of Domestic Violence (DV) which amazingly affects 1 in 4 women, many children, and yes men too – unfortunately it becomes part of the lives of far to many of us. It is a very worthwhile charity cause for us to support and we will have fun – and many people who presently feel they have no escape form DV will be supported by us.
